How rates are quoted

The ISI rule since 2025
Under the Plywood and Wooden Flush Door Shutters (Quality Control) Order, 2024, plywood and flush doors sold in India must carry the ISI mark. It came into force on 28 February 2025 for larger manufacturers, with later dates in 2025 for small and micro units. In practice:
- Don't buy a sheet without the ISI mark and a CM/L licence number.
- Verify the CM/L number in the official BIS Care app.
- Check that the grade on the stamp matches what you're paying for.
